My DJ Academy is a specialist DJ and music production school based in Leigh On Sea, Essex. We Specialise in tutoring all aspects of digital DJing to all age groups and all ability levels. Our courses are exclusively 1-2-1 and can be tailored to your specific requirements. Our experience and knowledge, mean you can rest assured we have a route to success for you! We are committed to ensuring you smash your musical goals, but above all else have fun!

What music genres do you teach?
We teach all styles of dance music, the techniques and skills learnt can be applied to a number of different genres.
Do I need to be musically educated or have any music experience to do a DJ course?
No experience is needed at all! Our courses cater for all levels from beginners right the way up to advanced levels. We will teach you everything you need to know throughout our courses to start your career!

Do you organise gigs for students?
Once students graduate our advanced course we add you to our online community of DJs who have finished our courses too, we will then provide graduates with DJing opportunities with some great brands and give students exposure to kick off their DJing journeys!
Are the courses lessons 1 on 1 or in a group?
All our DJ courses are taught 1-to-1 at our studio in Leigh On Sea, tailored to you and at your speed so we can help you progress as much as possible!
Are there any age limits to enrol in DJ courses?
There is no age limits to our courses. However, if you are 16 years old you will need an adult to accompany your lessons! We have a comfortable waiting area with refreshments for you to use.

Do you sell or rent DJ equipment?
Yes! We sell brand new DJ decks and also have a full range of DJ equipment that we can rent out for all sized parties, please Contact us for more details!
